Mock Chicken Raw Steak

serves 4

Marinade:

1 T. Yakon Syrup (1 T. Agave Nectar, if not available)

1 T. Agave Nectar

2 1/2 T. of Brine (Brine is concentrated Pink, Celtic or Sea Salt absorbed in to water. Let salt sit in water until absorbed then take out water, leaving remaining salt)

2 pinches of Cayenne

1 t. ground Cumin

1/2 clove minced Garlic.

Mix very well.

Topping: (in separate bowl)

1/2 C. raw Almond Meal

1/2 t. Pink, Celtic or Sea Salt (Put less if you don't like it too salty and then more if you need to)

Pinch of cumin

Mix well

~Take 4 Portobello mushrooms and cut mushrooms in to steak sizes. Marinate in marinade for 45 minutes.

~Coat mushroom steaks in topping

~Dehydrate at 102 degrees for 3-6 hours depending on the consistency you want your Mock Chicken Raw Steak to be.

~Condoments for steak: Chop 1/4 C. Red Onions, slice 1 Colored Bell, and chop 1/4 C. broccoli. Add to top of steak, then pour marinade on top of steaks and serve.

Use bread of choice and put steaks inside with red leaf lettuce, slices of tomato, red onion, and BeLive’s mayonaise #1. This makes an incredible Mock Chicken Raw Sandwich.
